Sean “Rugzy” Miller-Moore is coming back to the Calgary Surge for the 2024 CEBL season, marking his third season with the team.
The 6-foot-5 forward from Toronto has become a fan favorite in Calgary for his exciting playing style and impressive skills on the court. Last season, Miller-Moore averaged 12.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game while shooting an efficient 57.8% from the field.
Surge President and General Manager Jason Ribeiro expressed his excitement about Miller-Moore’s return: “Rugzy has been with us from day one and has become one of the most electrifying players in the CEBL. His highlight-reel dunks and energy on both ends of the floor make him a player our fans love to watch.”
Miller-Moore is known throughout the Canadian Elite Basketball League for his incredible athleticism and spectacular dunking ability. His high-flying plays have made him a standout performer and helped establish the Surge as one of the league’s most exciting teams.
“Calgary feels like home to me now,” Miller-Moore said. “The fans here are amazing, and I love playing for this organization. I’m ready to help bring a championship to the city this season.”
The Calgary Surge finished as Western Conference finalists last season, and with Miller-Moore returning alongside other key players, the team is looking to make another strong playoff push in 2024.
